While on our western adventure, Mom and I had the pleasure of spending a night at a B&B in between Bozeman and Livingston, Montana called the Howlers Inn.
Interesting name, you think? Well, this is not your typical bed and breakfast. Howlers Inn also serves as a wolf sanctuary that has two resident wolf packs on site. The innkeepers take in wolves that have been abandoned, orphaned or otherwise would not be able to survive in the wild. It was so interesting to see the dynamics of the packs - the Alpha male kept a close eye on me when I ventured near the enclosure. He was also the one to come the closest and kept his yellow eyes on me constantly.
This was the first time I'd been to a B&B, and I enjoyed every second of it! The innkeepers made you feel like a part of their family and made the most delicious breakfast! It was a great alternative to staying in the normal hotel Mom and I would have booked. It also boasted the most incredible view of the mountains and valleys! If you ever venture out to Yellowstone, this place is a great find!

I live in Bozeman, and every once in a while, there is a coupon for Howlers. I always wondered if it would be fun to stay there. :)
