A couple weeks month ago, I had a fantastic (much needed) weekend with one of my best girlfriends from college in NYC.
One of the best parts of living in New England is how close/easy it is to get around the Northeast! In a few hours you can go from sitting behind your desk near Boston to wandering Manhattan.
By wandering, I mean talking myself into the idea that 30 blocks would take me not time at all...much better to have a brisk walk in some mist than take a stuffy cab.
Showing up at the Waldorf and hour later sweating, soaking wet fromtorrential downpour mist was definitely the way to make an entrance. What can I say, I'm a classy broad.
I digress...

We had the absolute BEST time catching up, taking in the sights, cheesing it up with the cast of Mamma Mia, and eating cupcakes to our hearts' content.
I'm already aching to go back!
What are your favorite things to do in NYC?
